Our Doctrine

In Doctrine, we believe that all the commandments of the Lord Jesus Christ are to be obeyed. Jesus said, "Why call ye me Lord, and do not the things I say?" (Luke 6:46). We believe in the essentials of Faith, (Hebrews 11:6), Repentance (Acts 17:30,31), Confession (Romans 10:10), and Baptism (Acts 2:38; Mark 16:16; Acts 22:16), as being requirements for entrance into the body of Christ, which is the Church (Ephesians 1:22,23).

Our Practice

In Practice, we observe the Lord's Supper each Lord's Day (Acts 20:7; I Corinthians 11:20,25) and Baptism by immersion for the remission of sin (Acts 2:38; 22:16; Galatians 3:27; Romans 6:3,6). On non-essentials we admit the largest liberty; on essentials, we appeal to the Bible. In faith, unity; in opinions liberty; and in all things love.

Our Objective

Our objective is Christian Unity. This is the unity for which Christ prayed (John 17:20-21). We believe that when a love for Christ transcends love for party or creed, and when individuals become "Christian only" that unity can be achieved.

Our Motive

Our Motive for this effort is found in John 17:21, "that the world might believe."
